President-Elect
The President-Elect’s primary role is to assist the President and prepare for the upcoming year. Under guidance from the President, the President-Elect will become familiar with the processes and procedures required to run the chapter. The President-Elect is also expected to perform all the duties specified by the Constitution and Bylaws or those approved by the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities

Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week.

Attend the AMA Leadership Summit immediately preceding term.

Oversee volunteer management and volunteer appreciation.

In partnership with the President, oversee, guide, and support VP positions and committees.

Work with Sponsorship chair to build long-term sponsor relations.

Head nominating committee for the next Board year.

Plan the June Board Retreat to kick-off the next chapter year.

Work with President to collect and compile information for Chapter Excellence Awards submission.

Scholarship Chair
As the Scholarship Chair, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the scholarship program within the chapter. Membership and Volunteer Programming Chair
As the Membership and Volunteer Programming Chair, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance member engagement and drive volunteer participation within the chapter through events specifically designed for this audience e.g., membership maximizer webinars, volunteer recognition dinner, volunteer awards ceremony, member appreciation day, etc. Your main tasks will include:· Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of events.· Research and select suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers for events, negotiating contracts and ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.· Develop event concepts and themes, creating detailed event proposals and presentations for clients or stakeholders.· Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan and execute marketing and promotional strategies for events, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement.· Oversee event setup and breakdown, including managing event staff, coordinating audiovisual equipment, and handling any last-minute adjustments or issues that may arise during the event.You will work closely with the chapter's executive board and collaborate with various committees to create a positive and inclusive environment for all members.
